Every judo club should have public sections to generate interest in judo and the club.
To recruit new members.
It should also have members only sections that ensure privacy and engages members of the club.
The primary purpose of a Judo Club website is the be the central point of all information distribution for both the public and its members.
Use Social media!
Each social media platform has destinct user demographics!
Do not think FaceBook reaches many under the age of 35 or that Tic Toc reaches many over the age of 45!
Best practises:
Share information via social media leading to the club’s website!
Whether targetting the public or members & parents!
The public may find your club website by:
Word of mouth?
Social media?
Google search?
Keep it simple and do it well!
Delegate!
Not all judo coaches or club committee members are experienced in how to use social media best.
PHOTOS:
Some photos can be used in a public section so anybody can share further promoting the club and judo.
Some photos should be for members only!
Have a MEMBERS ONLY photo gallery while using a selection for display in a PUBLIC section!
The public is NOT interested in 52 photos from a competition but a few might encourag them to find out more about the club?
Club members will enjoy both looking at and sharing photos from a club event or competition!
